Annemiek ter Horst

My name is Annemiek ter Horst. I was born in 1954 in Voorburg. As 24 years old I did the ‘Vrije Academie’ in The Hague. Before I chose for the direction in art, I spent a few years as account- and productmanager in industry.

In my forties I layed down the business life and took some lessons in sculpture and painting at Coen van den Ende in Voorburg. I also participated in various workshops in sculpture. Thereafter I followed some classes at the ‘Vrije Academie’ in Delft.

The time I followed the lessons in sculpture, I had a workplace with multiple artists. Everyone had his own direction in art. Since the year 2001 I own a workplace and started working in order as well.
